MBC,
Inc. uses its policies and procedures to ensure only qualified,
responsible employees are provided to your facility. Each applicant
is personally interviewed and thoroughly reference checked. Two
recent references, which will reflect the employee's ability to
perform in the job category for which the employee will work,
will be obtained prior to employment.
Each
applicant accepted for employment will have a minimum of one year
recent experience in addition to education and/or training. Each
applicant is given competency testing and a skills inventory.
Skills, specialties and abilities of each applicant will be determined
by the results. The skills and abilities of employees will be
matched to the specific needs of the facility. The employee will
be made fully aware of the needs and conditions of your facility.
Each employee has a written evaluation completed after 90 days
of employment and yearly thereafter.
An
orientation is held for all new and reactivated employees to discuss
MBC, Inc. policies and procedures, job descriptions, universal
precautions, safety measures and emergency procedures.

Procedures
An application must be submitted
and signed which reflects name, address, education, employment
history, references, special qualifications and abilities of the
applicant.
Each
employee must have a TB test with negative results. All diagnostic
tests are kept in the employee's personnel files. In addition
to the above-stated health requirements, each employee must also
comply with his/her individual state requirements.
License
identification, registration cards or appropriate credentials
of each registered nurse, therapist and licensed practical/vocational
nurse (certification for certified nurse aides) will be examined
and verified by the state licensing board at the time of application
and at each renewal date thereafter.
All
employees must present evidence of having in-service instruction
in the areas of Fire Safety, Infection Control and Universal Precautions.
Current
BCLS/ACLS certification is required
All
employees must submit the following: I-9 compliance, W-4 form
completed and signed, and a signed statement indicating the employee
understands both the job description and the policies and procedures
of MBC, Inc.
Personnel
file requirements must be completed and in order on or before
the first day of work.
